For my sister’s 30th birthday I went all out. I planned a surprise party complete with a bartender, DJ, and plenty of DIY crafts! One of my favorite crafts for this party was the big, glitzy “30.” This accent was a hit as a decorative piece that doubled as a great photo prop.
After learning the groom’s infatuation with stuffed olives, I deemed a unique and appropriate gift for the bridal shower. But the single apparatus alone would not suffice, so I added a personal touch by creating a book of recipes “stuffed with love.”

While searching for decorative ideas for my mom’s 60th birthday party, I came across this “Dressed Up Solo Cup” blog post. I also highly recommend this tutorial for photo transfer to little glass candle holders. Since my mom’s birthday party was during the daytime, I opted for glass vases (from the dollar store…hint, hint).
